I have been potting for 40 years now and it still fascinates me what one can do with clay and glaze.  I still enjoy the overlaying of glazes as to the patterns and images revealed through the chemical reaction.

In my body of work for the “Earth Matters” exhibitionI have added Carbon Trap glaze along with my copper red glazes and also a strong blue which gives an earthy landscape look.  I am using new forms as a canvas for these glazes in their abstraction representing the beauty of the Earth’s chemistry.
