Sydney-born contemporary artist scholar living in Yurruun.ga / Urunga since 2007.
My creative practice includes sculptural and functional ceramics (student of Bellingen-based Master potter Tamasin Pepper since 2015), mixed media (Mixed Up Art, 2015 to 2017), photography and digital work, poetry, prose and the odd scholarly text in English (Bachelor of Indigenous Knowledge with Honours, Gnibi – Southern Cross University, 2017 – 2022). I am a member of Artists in the Garden, a monthly creative gathering in the beautiful Coffs Harbour Botanic Gardens.
I have found creative practice integral to
1) understanding and healing the context of my life as a fellow survivor of attempted genocide and
2) working together with my family and community so we may thrive here in these brightening days.
Some of my body of work since 2011 may be viewed on Facebook page
