Christine Courcier-Jones

Christine’s art practice has focused on printmaking and painting since 2003.   The TAFE NSW Diploma of Visual Arts (awarded 2016) and the Advanced Diploma (2017) supported her creativity and art-making.

Christine is a member of community art groups, teaching printmaking and exhibiting prints and paintings.  She collaborated in the Overwintering Exhibition at Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery contributing prints of endangered birds to the Wall of Wings.

In 2019 her Artist Book, Nothing Gold Can Stay won the Bellingen Community Art Prize works on paper award.  Another of her artist books –Tea and Oranges – was a finalist in the 2019 Geelong Acquisitive Print Prize.  It was also selected for the final of STILL Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery National Still Life Award.  Tea and Oranges was acquired by Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery for its collection.
