Christine Hamilton
I was born and raised in Versailles, France, and lived in Paris for quite some time where I studied Law and Art and also where I met my future Australian husband studying Architecture.
Then I followed my husband to the Loire Valley where I became a guide in various castles, talking history and architecture to a lot of people. Fascinating times!
After a few years we moved to Australia, a complete different culture. Farm life, shearing, wool sheds, sheep yards. After raising our daughter, I was encouraged by my husband to paint. I took it up and it stayed.
Working and painting here in the Nambucca Valley, I have been able to have regular exhibitions and also to hold several solo shows.
