I have only taken up ceramics recently, encouraged by wife, Lyn, a long time ceramic artist.

Hand building and raku firing has captured my imagination.

Each piece is a one of a kind.  I spend considerable time,  drawing a template to full scale.
This is the most exciting part of the process, as I love form. 

Taking great care in the building, paying attention to detail is the next step. 

Finally the firing in a raku kiln is both nerve racking and thrilling and wow!! a new piece is born.  

I have successfully exhibited in Coastal Claymakers’ annual exhibitions, Nexus Gallery, Bellingen, Nambucca Heads bi annual exhibitions, Valla Expressions exhibition, Valla Beach and The Art Space, Urunga.
