Julie Byers
I am a mixed media artist happily living on Gumbaynggirr Country and currently obsessed with analogue collage.
After a career in international development and the public sector I was fortunate to complete a diploma in Visual Arts at TAFE NSW in 2021.
Creativity was always a passion and now I can throw everything at it and make up for lost time. I completed a residency in Poetry and Collage with Kolaj Institute based in New Orleans in 2021 and a solo residency in 2024.
I was part of a group exhibition called ‘Walking Together’ in Bowraville in 2023 and I am furiously working toward another exhibition in 2025. Watch this space !
