Rowena Post
Largely self taught, Rowena’s art practice reflects the city, country and coastal areas where she has lived.
She was a specialist visual arts and music teacher in a private school in Sydney and has had several solo and group shows both in the country and in the city.
Rowena works in acrylics, pencil, watercolour, collage and mixed media and she explores a wide variety of styles and subjects.
She strives to create artworks with some enigmatic element to them. Ideally, she would like each viewer to have a unique and personal interpretation of the narratives of her work.
For this reason many of her works have single word titles with numbers. She would really rather avoid using titles at all!
