Tracey Bowden

As a contemporary visual artist my work is inspired by my connection to our beautiful, amazing country, the energies of life. Using colour, to create vibrant works through the interplay of light, shapes, texture, pattern, connection, strength, and fragility that is seen all around us.

I believe how we connect to our environment both in our homes and in the natural world affects us deeply. Art inspires, heals, and transforms spaces.

Since moving to the rural coastal town of Scotts Head in 2017 with my husband, I am now loving focusing on my Art practice after previously teaching in TAFE in Fashion and Design. Exploring different mediums and techniques in art, creating and weaving.

Art for me is a never-ending creative journey of discovery.
