Yvette Stride

Yvette Stride is an Australian artist and educator, drawing inspiration from the metaphysical realm and dreams related to her surroundings.

Especially in her homes of Hungry Head Beach (Australia), Shunyi, near the Wenyu River Beijing (China) and her ultimate home underwater, scuba diving the Pacific Ocean (Australasia).

Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Queensland University of Technology, and a Master’s in Education (Arts) from Southern Cross University, she has directed collaborative murals in Australia and Malaysia.

Yvette has held solo exhibitions with Ink Valley Gallery and Oasis International Hospital in Beijing (2023). She completed an artist residency at Guanlan Printmaking Base in China (2019) and shows work with Shenzhen’s International artist forum (ISZAF) and Urunga Art Space. A recent highlight was exhibiting with her students at the Song Art Museum in Beijing.
