I have been creating art and craft as a means of expression, connection and meditation. I have dabbled in many different mediums and techniques such as mosaics, paverpol art, macrame wall art, ceramics and wood sculptures.
My interest in ceramics came through my desire to create vessels for my bonsai work. I wanted to find a way to fully engage in bonsai and felt that making the pots is a way to be more deeply involved. I love the earthy Australian textures and colours in the landscape.
I have spent time learning from Tamasin Pepper and Cath Fogarty, and more recently have attended the National Art School short courses with Julie Bartholomew and Juz Kitson. I also attend the Forster Art and Craft Centre on a regular basis to maintain and practice my learning and keep connected with other creatives.
