Alan Bishop

I am a retired engineer, living the dream!
I am a woodworker and sculptor, working mostly with wood. I make furniture, boxes and sculptures.
My sculptures are curved forms carved from solid timber. I was a finalist for this year’s Small Sculpture Exhibition at Urunga, and previously won a number of awards – including a second places at Woolgoolga Lillipilli exhibition and the Lower Clarence Arts and Crafts exhibiton.
I was included in a three person ‘Out of the Forest’ exhibition at Coldstream Gallery, Ulmarra, where we sold several pieces, including a carved Mobius form, a hall table and a wall hung whiskey cabinet.
