Cath Fogarty

If you have visited our recent Small Sculpture Prize exhibition, you will no doubt have marvelled not just at the sculptures, but also at how beautifully the exhibition was laid out.
The curation of the Prize is thanks to Cath Fogarty and Chris Wilson.
Cath’s art practice is in ceramics, so she seems to have an affinity with 3D works that shines brightly when curating an exhibition like Small Sculptures. Her attention to detail and placement creates a special magic in the exhibitions she curates.

Cath has worked as a potter, teacher, and gallery curator over her career. She established a gallery
and shop in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, selling hand made ceramics. She relocated to the mid north coast from Sydney in 2016 to take up a role with Coffs Harbour City Council as the Cultural Development, Gallery and History Services Coordinator.
After working at the Coffs Regional Gallery for five years, she has since returned to her own practice and teaching.
