Christine Morgan
Artist Chris Morgan grew up in Nambucca heads in the 60s, finished school and headed to the city. Returning to the local area to retire in early 2017, the beautiful people and surrounds inspired her to return to her artistic roots.
Chris joined a small local art class and soon became a member of the Urunga Art Space, successfully exhibiting and selling her paintings there, online and at local markets.
Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2016, she draws, creates and paints as a means of therapy and finds it a calming way to keep her mind and hands busy.
Every painting holds heart and joy at its core, and this is what drives Chris to share her work.
