Helen Beale
I first trained as a handcraft teacher with the Australian Red Cross over 50 years ago. It was here that I learned skills such as basketry, pottery, leather and metal work, weaving and textiles. Later I studied design and attended other informal classes.
I have travelled extensively throughout Australia and overseas teaching and exhibiting and have works in collections worldwide.
These days I love to mix up all these skills to create both 2D and 3D objects. some will be practical some purely decorative.
