Jeramie Scahill

Spanning over 30 years, my artistic career has evolved from gem cutting and jewellery making to silversmithing and sculpture. As an accomplished metalsmith, I bring a high level of craftsmanship and material knowledge to my work, exploring form through traditional and experimental techniques.

My practice is rooted in hands-on making, with a focus on metalwork while continually exploring new mediums and sculptural approaches. I have exhibited in numerous group exhibitions at regional galleries, held solo exhibitions, and previously owned and operated an art gallery in Coffs Harbour.

I do not approach my work with political or social agendas; rather, I strive to create beautiful, well-crafted objects that offer a positive, emotional response for the viewer—something quiet, honest, and lasting.
