Temmina Kuijpers
Temmina (Tammy) Kuijpers began her ceramics journey in The Netherlands in the 80s and continued her studies in New Zealand from the 90s, learning from both national and international ceramicists. In 2015 she gained a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Art & Design and Tammy also holds a Certificate in Adult Teaching.
Her work has been exhibited in solo and collaborative exhibitions and selected for juried shows in both countries, receiving several awards in New Zealand.
Since moving to Australia in 2019, Tammy has focused on tutoring from her studio in Dondingalong, while continuing to create one-off works for exhibitions. Her diverse practice spans wheel throwing, sculpture, slip casting, alternative firings, decorative domestic ware, paper clay sculpture and lighting.
