Art Space “selected” exhibitions. We extend an invitation to exhibit to all Members of the Art Space.
Each artist chosen for a selected show will be required to:
– Pay the entry fee BEFORE drop off of works
– Be a current financial Member of the Art Space
– Supervise the gallery for 2 days during the exhibition
– Exhibit up to 8 works of any size
27.5% commission applies to all works sold
A selection panel will decide participants and confirm with successful Artists.
The decision of the selection panel is final.
“Encounter” selected group show runs from 9th August to 13th September .
Exhibition Theme:
The exhibition is called “Encounter” and the concept is for the artist to have a direct relationship with the artwork rather than using, say, photographic reference, even if the photo is taken by the artist. You could say “plein air” but it also works with still life or portraits done directly in front of the subject in the workspace.
Photography is obviously not affected as it is direct by its nature, but for 3D work we are asking for work which represents something important to the artist.
