‘…to arrive…’ Exhibition opening was hugely successful, a large crowd attended in spite of the ‘heavens opening’ lots of lovely wine and choice of beers attended to by Jenny Goode … and yummy eats prepared by Cathy and Jodie McSkimming.
Poet Terry Yates gave a heart felt speech of appreciation to the ArtSpace team and the local arts community for enabling and supporting the exhibition. Terry also spoke about the ‘creative process’ and his poetry publications. Everyone was very moved by his passionate explanation and recital of his work.
A big ‘shout out’ to Penny Adams (former President), Linda Coomber (gallery manager) and Annette Carse (current President), Hugh Wade and the whole ArtSpace team for fully supporting this collaborative venture of poetry and visual art … and for the creative freedom, encouragement and trust enabling this exhibition.
