2025 Cornerstone exhibition

CORNERSTONE is organised and curated by Adrienne Hmelnitsky.

Cornerstone convenes a phalanx of thirteen artists from the Mid North Coast in what can only be described as a seminal recalibration of their collective Oeuvre.

This exhibition does not simply revisit beginnings; it interrogates the very bedrock of practice – the strata, seams, and tectonic pressures from which an artistic gestalt may, or may not, perspicaciously emerge.

Every piece is new, unseen, unencountered by the human cornea. To stand among them is to sense not only the mantle of practice but its hypothetically transmogrificial undertones — the foundational, the ridiculous, and the unavoidably sincere.

Cornerstone is, in short, a cornerstone
